The 2023 Audi S3 is the performance version of the fourth-generation A3 (8Y), sold in the US as a four-door saloon. It uses a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder rated at 306 hp and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm), with quattro all-wheel drive and a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic as standard.
Where it sits
The 8Y S3 reached North America for the 2022 model year, so 2023 is its second season. It sits between the A3 and the far more powerful five-cylinder RS 3 in the range.
