The 2022 Audi SQ5 is the performance version of the second-generation Audi Q5 (internally FY), a five-seat compact luxury SUV. It uses a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 rated at 349 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque, with an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive as standard.
Where 2022 fits

What it is like
The SQ5 sits above the four-cylinder Q5 45 TFSI and gives the range a strong, smooth V6 with plenty of mid-range pull. Standard sport suspension and larger brakes distinguish it from regular Q5s, and the SQ5 has a more purposeful look with quad exhaust outlets and sportier bumpers. Inside, it shares the Q5’s well-finished cabin, with comfortable space for four adults and a practical boot.

The Q5 platform is generally well regarded. Look for a complete service history, as the turbocharged V6, eight-speed automatic and quattro drivetrain all benefit from maintenance at the recommended intervals, and inspect the larger brakes and performance tyres for wear.
